ok im plannin on a

E6600 conroe
ASUS p5w dh dulux wifi
gskill 2gb the 240 pound memory


should i go ahead with it or should i wait to see what will be next in the next gen things, ill be buying about xmas time but i dont want to buy if there will be like a 8core cpu or somthing daft that comes out in a few months,

so does any one know if any new and better things will be releised in a few months for gaming please? ty

allso with the rig, would you advise i get a water cooling (i will be getting a DX10 card in the future) or should i stick to air and get a sythce ninja cooler?

my cpu temps on stock cooler at the moment for my amd 4400x2 at 2.84ghz is 26c idle and 34c full load for 1 hour. so the air flow inside my case isnt a problem at all, but if i got a E6600 and clocked it past 3ghz would it kick out a lot of heat?
