Hey all,

Was just wandering what your opinions are on this spec?
Would i be able to get the best overclocking out of it (without watercooling)

I went for HIS because of the silent cooler. Do you think the X1950 is worth the extra cash?

I would not go for the x1950, not really much performance increase for the price.

I would swap the ram for the geil ultra 6400.

I would a lot consider swapping the case for the lian li pc 7b. but that just personal preferance.

I don't know how the MSI motherboards are overclocking, the Gigabyte DS3 and DS4 are supposed to be good for the Conroe 6300 and 6400 but I think an Asus motherboard is supposed to offer the best overclocking for the 6600.

Other than that it all looks pretty good to me with good solid components.
 
Just trying to save you some cash. Hard drive is as fast as the raptors with an 8mb buffer. Good quality PSU and case for the price. Better motherboard to overclock with.
