Planning on going for the following spec, any suggestions on it and how it will overclock - i'm pretty confident the cpu & m/b will be fine but i'm not overly confident on the memory at the mo....

Oh, and I won't be overclocking straight away - will be purchasing a decent cooler at a later date.....

Anyone got any ideas on this RAM? I know it's specced to 800mhz but guess i'm going to need to clock it higher then that to geta decent overclock out of the processor.....

£500 was the most I was looking to spend. If we are talking £20-30 though I could probably stretch....

Ok, i would probably swap the ram to GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC6400 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX21GB6400UDC) (MY-057-GL) as it is faster and acheives good speeds. Apart from that the system looks fine.

Yep I agree, I'd get the Geil RAM :) Looks great otherwise, some nice components there ;)

Looks good, but if you want a faster GPU then the x1800xt is only £140, or the 256mb x1900xt is £170.

Is the X1800xt really that much better? I have heard it is slightly. but was thinking the cooler on the 1900xt will allow me to get a bit extra overclock....
