wanted to keep with shuttle but that new one is far too dear!!!

should i change any of the components , after best bang for buck

not sure about the size of the sugo, hope it's not too big!!

keeping my x-fi and putting it in the new one, only reason i'm upgrading is because i have got a good price for my old one

is the upgrade gonna make a notable difference?

Well the graphics card won't offer a hugely noticeable difference but other than that the CPU ought to, I'd consider two changes, getting a Seagate 7200.10 hard drive instead of the Samsung as they are faster and the other change would be to get a slightly more powerful PSU to allow for expansion.

thankyou for your reply:)

would you get a different gfx card? maybe the 1800xt?

what power supply should i get ? 480watt?

i've just seen that antec htcp case and am interested in that now ... ow the choices!!!!

if you can get the x1800xt go for it, they are amazing value for money.
i am very happy with mine it plays all my games at high or maximum settings easily.

An X1800XT is very good value if you can stretch your budget a bit and yes for the PSU I'd probably try for something say 430w+ as there are a range of quality options at that sort of power level.
