I was almost about to buy the E6400. Does this mean the E6600 is a better purchase then as I always end up clocking my CPU's in the end and want as long a life from it as possible?Dutch Guy said:The big downside to a E6300 and E6400 is the low multiplier of 7x/8x
The best mobo there is struggles to go over 425Mhz FSB so with a E6300 that means a max clockspeed of 2975Mhz, well below what the CPU is capable of.
