Has anyone gone thought the process of getting conservatory roof blinds? I’m considering it since moving house my office room is the conservatory and I can see as we get into summer the light from the roof might be an issue.

It’s about 2.5m x 2.5m so just wondering if anyone has done this or even had the roofing replaced/insulated & boarded and how did you find it and ballpark costs involved?

We had our conservatory roof insulated and boarded and the difference means the room is now useable in the summer and winter. It cost around £5k and was worth every penny (for a 3m x 3m room). We were getting quotes to put an actual tiled roof on for £10k+!

Is that boarded and insulated with the glass/polycarb panels remaining in situ?

Cheers good info, and yeah also interested if the roof was left as is.

I didn’t find the winter too bad (aside from a little condensation) but I suspect summer might be a different matter.
