Hello

What would be the best way to go about changing those 4 ribbed panels on the roof to something transparent to have as a 'sky light' as they are only plastic, surely you can get clear ones?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Yep that's polycarbonate and it's available in all sorts of thicknesses/shades/colours/additional magical coatings.

It's hard to tell from the picture (and that I have next to no experience with it aside from having had a leaking tragic lean-to conservatory polycarbonate roof) but I'm assuming the white bits pop off and then the polycarbonate just slides out/in.

Basically this.

Get a sample pack of rubber seals from a supplier on the internet, and spend day 1 taking out panels and measuring up, and assessing what seals you need to buy to replace what's there. They'll likely be perished depending on age but certainly could be affected by removing or replacing them.

You can then buy the panels locally.
