Hi.

Stepson's pc is constantly blue screening with memory problems that I think are motherboard related so it's time to get a new build and can't wait for Coffeelake but I don't think I'd be advising Intel anyway.

Solely gaming build but may stream one day and strategy game player so I figured the extra cores could be useful even in the short term.

A B350 board is fine as it's only ever going to have 1 GPU and a couple of drives.
16gb is probably wise for the future.

Please can I have some motherboard, ram and cooler suggestions?

He's going for a 1070 GPU.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks. The board looks good but the memory is maybe a bit too expensive and the cooler needs to be budget...sorry should have said.

If you go with the R5 1600 you get a decent stock cooler.

Cheaper Ram
