considering a GTO

Been looking at new cars again.

Am quite liking the look of a 3.0 twin turbo GTO, oddly the insurance company didnt laugh when i asked for a quote either!

I know nothing at all about them though, anyone got any good references abot them so i can read up. What to look out for, cost of parts etc.

I will probably buy one that needs some work doing to, as i'm not an idiot with a spanner and love the satisfaction of driving a car that i've built / maintained myself.

I've spotted one, it has gearbox problems though. Is that common on these cars, am i likely to find any parts for a GTO second hand - would have to admit ive never seen one in a scrappy, but i know there are specialised scrappys around that deal with the rarer cars.

any info any of you guys and gals can give me would be most appricatated.
