Hi guys,

I'm having serious issues with my motherboard at the minute and considering an upgrade as an easy fix.

I'd basically only need a new CPU and mobo. I assume I can use the same RAM from my current system even though it's not rated for 1.5V? Or do I need new RAM also?

Furthermore can I use my current cooler? Are they different to the 1156 connections? It's a Zalman CPNS something something.

The motherbaord must support crossfire (8x8x) as I have 2 5770s currently.

Can some kind folks spec my a decent bundle? I am also considering going 8GB RAM as it's so cheap these days.

That looks good to me. Any advice on whether my current ram and cooler will work with that mobo?

I assume this board will be good for ocerclocking? It sure sounds it but I hope it's not all talk!

yeah the MSI boards are great for Oc ive had a mess about with mine when first built just to see what i can get, i always run at stock for a year then Oc when i feel i need more power :)

I already have a very decent cooler so have no need for another :-). The only other difference I can see in the more expensive board is it has a few extra sata ports?

As for going z68 I think it would be totally wasted on me as I already use a 60gb SSD anyway :-). Thanks for the advice all. No doubt you'll be seeing me in the overclocking subforums soon enough!
