As per title really. After summer it would be (Job money), speccing myself up all I can see I need is mobo/cpu/some ddr2 ram. (And cheap ish)

For one, I'm lost on the ram. What speed would be comfortable? Is it the same as now, run a divider and it'll make no diff. (Instead of buying say pc4000 ram, getting as i have giel value and running a divider, whats the ddr2 equiv of this?) I heared you can run 4 in 1T, which can again make things cheaper.

Mobo, Only looked at the Asus really. Current is an asus a8n sli D, I love it. I'd like to stick with them really. Some nice features on new one too.

CPU, well. Dualcore hopefully. I'm not one for going crazy. Atm a 3000venice is keeping up with the rest of them fine, so I spose I don't need anything more. But dualcore defo.
Also whats with Cache sizes? Can't find detailes on ocuk product pages about them...
