Considering an SLI Upgrade; Need a little advice

Howdy howdy.

I've been considering giving myself an upgrade lately. I'm currently using a gtx 260 and the performance is fantastic. Still, nothing wrong with getting even etter performance

the only problem I've faced so far concerning upgrading is the cards themselves.

My current GTX is this:

The only one of the same brand and range I can seem to find is this:

I know mixing cards can cause problems, and the differences are pretty minimal between these two. The only problem is that the one I have is factory overclocked.

Would pairing these cards be a problem?

Also, if there was the possibility of pairing my card with another GTX of a different brand, are there any recommendations?

you can pair with any 260GTX - just try and make sure they are both clocked to the same levels tho so you don't get jerky performance.

It will work fine but you'll need to either overclock the second one or to down-clock your current one.However I'd say to overclock the second one as its fairly easy.You can use this to overclock it.http://downloads.guru3d.com/RivaTuner-v2.09-download-163.html
