.....But like some folk i've been out of the PC loop for a couple of years now....More so since i got my 360 but anyway....I'm not looking for a full system...Just a Mobo,CPU,GFX card and PSU....CPU must be AMD and is for gaming only really....So no idea if i should be going for a normal A64 or A64 X2 or indeed which Socket to buy :D

Don't care if the GFX card is ATi or Nvidia...Which ever will work best with the rig i'm hoping to build and will give best results at higher resolutions for my 20.1" Belinea TFT :D

Looking to spend about £700 ;)

Hmmmmmm....Would need to buy DDR2 Ram for the AM2 socket though or is that just recommended Ram specs?

Yes, you will need DDR2 RAM for Socket AM2. Have you got any RAM that you was thinking of using?

I currently have GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value Dual ...Thought i wouldn't have to upgrade my Ram just yet, to help fund a better upgrade :D

In that case, you should stick to socket 939 (unless you're willing to sell that RAM)

You can Crossfire later on when you get your 20" monitor.

forget the crossfire mobo its pointless jus get yourself a decent mobo that u can overclock ** x2 with, and if u were even thinkin of gettin another card later by that time there will be better cards that will destroy any current crossfire setup
