I'm considering buying my contract out and going with a better mobile provider, so I know at Carphone Warehouse I can trade my HTC One X in for £145.

It will cost me £375 to buy my contract out, so looking for details that will subsidies the cost of me buying my contract, so I've got 145 off it by trading my phone in, any good deals with cashback or anything?

Would like something like a HTC One, GSIIII, iPhone 5 potentially.

Thanks.

Don't know of any deals but some providers (I know O2 did) will let you reduce your package after the half way point. Might be worth seeing if you can get your monthly payments down first before buying your way out of it

Surely you'd get more for the phone selling privately?

£375 is a hefty buy out, cant you just sell the phone and buy a simfree handset?
Surely would be cheaper.

£375 + whatever you sell your phone for and keep the existing SIM/contract?

I phoned Talk Mobile and they said I'd have to pay 375 to buy it out.

The signal is just absolutely crap and the One X is not great.

I'm put off selling my phone privately as when I did it with my HTC Sensation it was a real hassle and ended up getting no more than trading it in.

Have you told them about the signal issues?
How long left on your contract? How long was the contract?

Have you tried your sim in another phone in the same locations to rule out hardware issues?

It's not hardware issues, it was crap with my HTC Sensation too, but I was daft enough to go on another contract in the hope it might be better and due to the low price!

I've told them can't do anything.

It's not insanely crap, it's just crapt o the point I can't listen to anything from the internet on the move or it'll cut out, and sometimes I only get "E" and it won't budge onto "3G/H", and as with the HTC Sensation when on "3G" web pages do not load, they will only load on "H".
