Some of you may be familiar with my case mod a while back, this was the result:

I love the aesthetics, but I'm getting fed up with the practicalities of the TJ07, getting the side panels to fit, cleaning and general maintenance. So the first question would be, how much do you think I could get selling her off, check my log for details, but essentially it's a perfect case for an air cooler wanting a TJ-07!

I'd be sad to see her go, so the replacement will need to be good. I'm after something solid and practical. No plastic bezels whatsoever. Dust filters, wants to be big and a good side window would be preferable. I'd like a little room to do my own modding, maybe a window or a different colour, but not completely changing the thing! So really I want a well built, good air cooler that looks refined, preferably has a window and maybe some room for modding.

Thoughts?

That's an amazing looking case, I'd look into getting yourself some tests done first. You may be going mental if you want to sell that.

EDIT: Don't get an 800D for air cooling.

Maybe, hopefully someone else can appreciate it! I'm thInking Cosmos II, I can get a few quid from selling the case, and the fit and finish on the Cosmos II is exactly what I'm looking for! How much should I sell for?

I'm not to sure about that to be honest. It would depend on the quality of the mods and condition of the case. I'm also terrible at naming prices for things. Not sure you are allowed to outside of the members market.

I'll give you an NZXT Phantom, 600T and Define R4 for it haha. :D

I heard around 50lbs, that's like half my anvil! How have you got on with the Cosmos II, general opinion?

is about 35kg with all my kit in it. Just this weekend I put it in my little ford fiesta and went to a mini LAN. It was heavy but it didn't move around. Could not put a seat belt around it haha. the stock fans are quite quiet although as of christmas I will have a 360 rad at the top which will require a little modding. Yes the case has plastic but it feels strong and well built and the doors are AWESOME! Cable management is great too. Plenty of space in there.

Here is the build log of mine. sorry for the rubbish pictures.... (taken with phone in the dark) http://imgur.com/a/BNJPb

Wouldnt change my antec 1200 for anything, i know many feel different!!!

well ive just gone from an antec 1200 to a corsair 800d, and i must say it does seem to move more hot air out of the case because i can feel it all coming from under my work surface, and my temps are a few degrees lower, i was disappointed though that they dont supply some fans for the top of the case where there is space for 3 120mm fans, @ £239 i did expect more fans but hey ho they arent exactly expensive.

the 800D is built for the water cooling enthusiast.

Yea I misread 800d is a good case to mod for water cooling in that case a Silverstone Fortress FT02
