Hey guys - I know this sounds a little stupid being posted on a computer geeks forum but thats who I am so I figure my peer group could give me some feedback!.

Essentially one of my eyelids comes down way lower than the other one. Always kinda bothered me a little but but figured 'sod it' its not the end of the world. Recently tho its started to annoy me simple because it means I am the least photogenic person in the world (people often comment along these lines).

I have started to think that it wouldnt be such a bad idea to just go and have what I can only assume is a simple procedure.

I was wondering if anyone had any relevant feedback or anything that I should consider in advance......how much do you think this could cost?

Thanks

Mike

If it makes you feel better about yourself then go for it, that's what Cosmetic Surgery is for.

I have a massive underbite from an incident when I was a child which results in my jaw receeding and double chins forming, I'm hoping to get my jaw reset and new permanent teeth installed, it's expensive but it will be worth it to me, I need to get a few years of employment behind me before pulling out the loan to afford it.

I know I will be happier with it, so it's worth whatever it costs for me.

If you could click your fingers and have it corrected then you would most certainly choose to do so. So it's either fear of the procedure or cost that will be holding you back. You have to decide how important in the grand scheme of things this is to you.

Good luck in your decision.

I can't say I noticed it at the LAN matey.

I'm considering getting my ears done, I'm not sure if you feel remotely the same way but I feel there's some guilt about having cosmetic surgery. I'm not unhappy in any way, I know I'd like to have it done yet at the same time something makes me feel wrong about actually doing it.

if it makes you feel better about yourself then do it, screw what anyone may think regarding cosmetic surgery or whether you "need" it. it's your body, you're the one who has to live with it through highs and lows, if you dont like a feature of it and are willing to plump up the cash to change it, then change it

Just think about the reasons that you are doing this. And consider each point very carefully.
How noticeable is it anyway? Did/Do you get bullied about it or given problems? Do you have trouble with the boys/girls due to this?
Does it make you feel any less valuable than otherwise?
Have you looked at yourself in the mirror and seen this 'thing' and wanted to cry?

If it is entirely for you, for reasons from within, then I think you should do it and I wish you the best of luck with the procedure.

I have one eye slightly more closed than the other, is that what you mean?
