Considering getting an IPS monitor

I mainly use my PC for gaming, but I also do some photography. Im thinking an IPS monitor will enhance the quality of both, particially photography since they can display colours more accuratly.

I currently have an LG W2261P (I think) which is full HD and has decent contrast ratio, but its a TN panel and suffers from bad viewing angles and a bad backlight bleeding.

Do you think an IPS panel monitor would be worth while ?

i got myself one of the korean IPS 27" ers and wnt be goin back to TN or even back to 24".
The additional resolution is superb.

The Dgm is excellent - I moved from a 24" Benq Mva/Pva panel @1920x1200 , which is/was a good monitor but no regrets

Definitely worth it, just pay a visit to the lagom viewing angle test to convince yourself of how bad your current monitor is and then buy a new IPS monitor and visit the site again
