Considering selling my FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS

...for a SEL70200GM2 and using either a 2X or 1.4 teleconvertor. Given the weight and assumed IQ advantage, does anybody consider this to be a reasonable thing to do?

How much extra IQ are you expecting? The 200-600 is very sharp, I’m not expecting you to see a massive improvement.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure tbh. It requires further investigation on my part.
I still need to decide whether the portability of the f2.8 ii and reduction in weight, with the tele-converter, will off-set the disadvantage of having less reach?
