Considering watercooling for possible new build

After browsing through the watercooled case pics thread i am thinking about using watercooling rather than air cooling in a possible new build in june/july sometime.

Prob is I've never built a pc from scratch before, have upgraded but never from scratch, and i am on a very tight budget.

I'd like the system to be as quiet and as cool, but also cheap as possible as i'm on a very tight budget ... ie. preferably around the £100 mark for a watercooling system that will cool the CpU and preferably GPU also. Will a watercooling kit cool the RAM? Can you get blocks for the RAM? Any suggestions for a good value case which will suit well?

Cheers

You can water-cool RAM but the RAM blocks are expensive so you won't be able to do cpu/gpu/RAM for £100.

This thread discussed water-cooling for £150.

Any case with 120mm fans on the rear would enable using a Swiftech Radbox to place the radiator on the back without having to cut the case.

If you're on a very tight budget, I'd recommend just doing air-cooling for your first build then saving up for water-cooling.
