Hello,

I'm looking at moving back to using a PC monitor for my PS4, but as I've been out of the market for a few years, I'm not entirely sure what to buy.

I previously used a BenQ RL2455HM 24" which was fantastic. Great colours and response time. I used it exclusively with Halo 3 and it didn't let me down.

So, for a budget up to approx £140, similar the monitor above, what do you guys recommend?

XL2720Z will have lower overdrive inverse ghosting than the HM monitor you had (which had pretty intense inverse ghosting) and it has an "AMA Low" mode you can use with blur reduction for even lower ghosting, and a "single strobe" for 60hz strobing. But 60hz strobe flicker (if you enable the "single strobe" setting) isn't to everyone's liking. It's best if you are used to 60hz CRT's.

That might be out of your budget, however :(

Don't have a ps4,m nor Xbox one, but when I had the xbone the other month it was connected to my Benq GL2250 monitor and was spot on, no ghosting or lines or anything, now connected to my 360 as I swapped also connected to my pc, All in all for £110 I paid it's a cracking monitor, this site sells it for £80 annoyingly ha, but that's just a middle of the range option, lot out there for up to £140

The IPS AOC i2369vm. Only thing is you need to max the backlight and then turn the contrast down to avoid PWM, otherwise though it's a great IPS monitor perfect for consoles. My old one had perfect colours, gamma and greyscale after calibration. The input lag is pretty much nothing and it has decent response times with only slight overshoot on the mid setting.
