Hi Guys and Girls

I curently have a pc but for the past view months ive wanted to get a console, but to be honest i dont know which console is the best, there is the wii, ps3 and 360, i will be playing the console alone mostly, i did think about the PS3 as i heard it had the blueray dvd inside it but not sure as dont just want a console for a blueray i want good games with graphics, and easy playabilty so im putting myself in your hands so hope u can help.

Many Thanks

Also if you want wireless need to add this to the cost of an Xbox, which may tip the balance,

I went from PC to Xbox and no regrets,

I have a 360 so am a little biased. I'll freely admit that most games look better on the ps3, it's blu ray drive is fantastic and you don't have to subsidise Bill's next South American country takeover to play online.

However many of my friends with ps3 are quite jealous of the playability of the xbox, I don't mean just the controller pishing all over the ps3's but that games are more enjoyable. Of course it's purely subjective but thats my ten penneth.

Add to that evertime I play ps3 online at friends no end of ppl are bitching and whining on chat saying that there going to get an xbox.

If your interested in Blu ray and will be playing mainly single player then the PS3 is the best choice. In addition as you have a decent PC most 360 games arrive on the PC and look/run better.

Xbox 360 all the way...simply superb console which is purely and primarily for one purpose - GAMING.

unlike the PS3 which in MY opinion tries too hard to be too many things in one - games console, web browser, bluray player and also freeview recorder.

/runs away from this Xbox/PS fight before it gets worse/

[edit] forgot to add something, one thing I wish for the xbox was easier upgrading of the hdd...I quite fancy a nice 1TB desktop SATA drive for all my music (yes I know I could plug in via USB, but it doesn't seem to like my desktop SATA drive adapters.

Oh, and one other thing I like about the 360 is the ability to customise it. Mine has gone out of warrenty now and I have decided to ditch the plain white case for a nice transparent blue case with additional mods being planned including extra cooling and more lighting....

You have a good pc so I would recommend the ps3 as almost all the decent 360 games come out on the pc anyway whereas the ps3 exclusives tend to be exclusive to the ps3 alone.

This is typically my view if someone can only get one. However i'd suggest you try and get both if you can, they both have a lot to offer.

this, then go and get your PS3 bundle with the new UNCHARTED and also buy cheap 2nd hand copy of the 1st Uncharted and be blown away with the best game series this gen

I started a thread about this not so long ago. There seems to be a lot of Xbox 360 fans around here. I originally thought about getting the 360, but the one I want (elite) is £200 where I can get a slim PS3 with a couple of good games for £289 and it has blu-ray built in. Not saying I'd ever use blu-ray but it's nice to have the choice.

I'd recommend people with good pc's get a PS3 & people with no pc's or crap pc's get a 360 for the same reason people have already mentioned... All good 360 games come to PC in the end. All good PS3 games are exclusives.
