Returning video tapes
I don't normally create new threads, (just spam mindless nonsense in everyone else's,) but I opened this one because I've found myself in a bit of a fix.

Much to my surprise I've recently converted to the 'dark side' and bought a XBox 360, but the endless swapping of cables between my PC, 360 and TFT is becoming a grind and may end up even damaging something eventually. I've done a bit of Googling and read through a number of previous threads on the subject, but just can't find the type of KVM I'm after.

I want one that has an actual physical switch on it so I can simply flip between PC and Console. I don't want one that demands I start the PC and press a bunch of silly hot keys (like the one I've just had to return today :( ), just a nice simple click/click jobby.

I apologise if the answer is blindingly obvious but as my job requires a very early start my brain is little on the foggy side at this time of the evening. ;)

I use an official 360 VGA cable.

360 is on the VGA input, PC is on the digital input. Works great.

Edit: Whoops! Competitors removed!

*cough* competitors *cough* ;)

As said above, normally TFT's have got 2x inputs, one for DVI and another for VGA, so just get the 360 VGA lead, hook it up, and switch with the monitor, if it has got the 2x inputs of course. :)

Aha, a VGA Box!!! That's what I should have been looking for. Many thanks guys, you've opened up a new world of money burning options for me. This console lark is getting expensive. :D

Sadly I was a bit of a cheapskate with my TFT. It only has a standard VGA input.

*Edit. Found what I'm after now. A 2 port Avocent SwitchView seems to fit the bill nicely.
