I normally use console for fps unless I'm on counter strike but was recently thinking about getting mass effect and dragon age. Do you guys reckon that these would be better suited to a pc due to the play style or could I get away with it on console??

well..as you're in the pc gaming forum, methinks the answer will unanimously be PC :p

Seriously though, if you've got the rig for it, then PC's the way to go.. options, features, performance and control system will make it all a better experience :)

Especially in the PC Games section ;)

Although Bioware seems pretty good at making their games work well on both, probably to the detriment of PC rpg gaming on balance but they're definitely better at it than most.

Mass Effect and Dragon Age Origins are completely viable on X360 m8. If you're wanting gamerscore from the then 360 it is. If not go for what ever is the cheapest option (if your current pc can play them at a decent frame rate).

Can't think of a better way to put it.

Consoles are best for arcadey type games imo, but for other genres (rts and fps mainly) the PC is the way to go.

I'd say pc, ive both a decent pc and a 3 month old xbox.

Why i got the xbox i don't know don't spose ive used it 10 times in 3 months.

Looks like I'm going to go the way of the pc then. It just gets on my nerves that loads of games are bloated with copyright protection now, whilst on consoles you can just keep using the thing without fear of having to reinstall it and running out of licenses.

depends on the game, you wouldnt play a fighter or a driving game on a pc (unless youve got a controller for the pc) but im increasingly finding the pc experience inferior to the console one due to stupid descions made by the developers... drm, dedicated servers being a few. also selling games is impossible on the pc and i cant for the life of me work out why, as its as easy to pirate games on consoles these days anyway :S

Consoles are killing the PC off in terms of games! I usually have a huge upgrade every 6-8 months, but im still trudging along with my E6600, 3 gig ram and 4870 1gig! Dont see the point in upgrading any more especially since i have my 360, PS3 and Wii!
