Hi, so I am looking at building a pc for streaming console games.
I currently have a keyboard, mouse & monitor for the setup.

I have been told about the following spec for around £570. I wanted to know if anybody could present a better spec for a similar price and explain any pro & cons of the spec.

Case - Thermaltake core v21 - £44.16
Processor - Skylake i5-6500/3.2ghz - £223.87
Motherboard - Gigabyte H110 Micro ATX - £50.37
RAM - HyperX Fury DDR4 4GB - £23
Storage - I've got a spare 500GB 860EVO
Power Supply - Corsair CX450 - £45
OS - Windows 10 - £24
Capture Card - Elgato HD60 Pro - £160

Thank you in advance,
Alex

I'd like to start by thanking you all for taking the time to reply to my thread. I have ordered the spec Orbi mentioned and placed it on a Sunday DPD delivery so hopefully it all gets picked for delivery tomorrow.
I haven't built a pc in close to 14 years so forgive me for asking but will all the components be delivered with the required cables, screws, washers etc or should I look at buying these?
I have a set of precision screwdrivers and a decent work space. Any other recommendations?
Thank you once again.
Alex

No I do appreciate it Plec, you asked the questions I wouldn't have so at the very least Orbi just confirmed it.
No doubt I'll be back on Sunday asking for help during the build.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Gents, thank you for all your help with this. Hopefully 1 final question, why would the pc not boot if the 2 front USB ports are in use? Laptop, mouse, USB microphone headphones all cause the same issue. However, if I remove them then it boots without fail. The ports work once the PC boots and I then use the ports with any of the devices. If I turn the pc off with them in use and restart it then it won't boot.
Thank you in advance.

Ok, so I have made sure all the drivers & BIOS is up to date. I have disconnected the front USB ports and reconnected them. I still have the issue!
I turn it on, if I have a USB device plugged into the front 2 ports then it won't boot until I unplug it, then it works fine. Once it boots I can use the 2 front ports with no problems.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you for all your help so far.

@GIGA-Man @Alex Adamson @Plec

seen this on the product description for Kolink just now ...

alex, kolinks description isn't very good, but is the front USB 3 points plugged into the Mobo's USB 3.0 header on the bottom right hand of the board or is it plugged into the USB pins bewteen USB 3.0 and sata ports ?

******* right, skip to 4:45 Mins in. you'll see the USB 3.0 cable - has 2 other cables branching out of it by the looks of it .

Big plug is the USB 3.0 female connection but you also see the Blue USB 2 female header which is part of the wiring. can you CONFIRM you havent plugged BOTH IN! ?

Some one made a comment on part two of the video about the USB 3/2 cable

he plugged both in

if both are in, might be enough to send mobo into a bit of a fit/rage as it has no idea, when windows is up and running, the OS/Driver might auto default to switch USB version would be used

Sorted it!

Thank you all very much for the time taken to help me sort this out, I appreciate it.

Hello all, thanks once again for all of the above advice.

I have had the system for close to a year now and it's been brilliant. I am looking at possibly swapping out the HD60 pro for a graphics card and wanted your advice. I would be playing COD Warzone and wanted to know based upon the current system and your recommended graphics card what quality I should expect from the gameplay?
