I watched this tonight and thought some of you here would also enjoy it. Trailer and some information on the IMDB site and the full documentary on YouTube below.

In 1990, SEGA, a fledgling arcade company assembled a team of misfits to take on the greatest video game company in the world, Nintendo. It was a once-in-a-lifetime, no-holds-barred conflict that pit brother against brother, kids against grown-ups, Sonic against Mario, and uniquely American capitalism against centuries-old Japanese tradition. For the first time ever, the men and women who fought on the front lines for Sega and Nintendo discuss this battle that defined a generation.

Ooh, I know what I am watching tonight :)

Ah man. I had no idea this documentary was even made. I loved the book years ago and then I heard about Seth Rogan buying the rights and had been waiting all this time dumbly for an Adam McKay style dramatisation.

I've download the documentary and will watch over the course of a few commutes next week. Thanks so much for sharing!
