this isnt a omg i love the 360 topic, its a i like consoles in general topic, when i used to pc game i found i stuck to the same tired games over and over again, FPS's

now ive got such a variety of games i enjoy playing games again, e,g id have never imagined i would enjoy playing kameo, but i cant put it down, reminds me of zelda OOT with the horse etc,

just wondered if any1 else is in this boat, or do you tend to stick to certain genres?

I can certainly see myself giving more time to the likes of pes etc, which never really blew me away on pc

Ill play a bit of anything as that way there is a much bigger choice for you. I did quite enjoy the kameo demo but not sure if i will buy it at this point. Id probs wait for it to come down in price as i tend to buy the games i know ill enjoy the most first then get something a lil different later on.

I'd never really played RPG style games properly, until I played Knights of the Old Republic on the Xbox... oh my...

Kameo does have some golden moments. Took me back to when I used to stay up all hours playing Mario 64, Zelda etc round my mate's house.

zelda on the n64 is one of my all time favs i got it for xmas and i pld it every day for like 2 months to try and complete think only that and shenmue had me so addicted

I had the exact same experience got Zelda for xmas and I just could not put it down it has to be my number 1 game. Shenmue was also really really good really need to get around to playing the second one.

I agree as well. I sold my uber pc rig as I was continuously upgrading (my own fault I know), and playing the same games again and again, and lucky if 1 or 2 releases came out which I enjoyed. Usually FPS's which I proably spent more time benching then playing, and the odd very good rts. I still have a PC mind you, but only for browsing, torrents etc.. But for gaming, I think the 360 has a lot of interesting games coming out in March, and am so glad I bought it. Pity they are so expensive, but that's the trade off I guess from moving from PC. What's more I am really looking forward to the Revolution as I think games like Mario, Zelda etc... are untouchable.

playing KoToR really changed my opinion of games!

i aint touched my pc since my 360! ...it did blow up so it was kinda hard anyway!

The fight night demo has introduced boxing games to me, ive not really been interested in them before. I like FPS's and RTS mainly, but im partial to a decent RPG like the new morrowind game, looks to be.

The only games I can't stand are strategy, such as Rome: Total War. So not hammering PC gaming doesn't bother me at the moment as they all seem to be dull FPS's or Strategy games.
