gota say how poorly made the plexi top is for the dcc pump

i cant get ride of the air bubble sound in my loop

i tried everything, ready to smash it up the wall its driving me nuts.

res is XSPC, 120.2 rad and d-tek block

i think the pump is faulty, its gota be.

You may well have a small leak. The warning sound for me, when I had a leak last time, was the intermittent low-level gurgling sound. The chipset cooler was weeping from a crack and it was drawing air from there. Check everything thoroughly - if you are using a UV sensitive coolant, then light up the motherboard with a UV light and see if you can see a dribble.

cant see any leeks, also how am i ment to fit hose clips onto the pump when the bards are so close together, poor idea.

Err, im rechecking my barbs, connections, and i got pink feser 1 !! So begins my Vigilant, if not Paranoia excursion trip!

Put tissue paper round all the potential leak points and leave it for a few days. If you've got a leak it should be fairly straight forward to see where it's coming from. Also if you've got a leak the water level will slowly go down.

ok ive sorted that now, pump is silent, now another problem, im getting sloshing sound in the res, any way to stop that. or have i got to buy a new res.

its an XSPC bay res [single bay]

the pump, i moved the inlet to the top, so i could get some clamps on, working ok now,

just the sloshing sound from the res now.

Does the res have any sort of dividers in it to prevent turbulance? My XSPC has 2, one semi circle at the back and one square at the front. I hardly get any turbulance in that res. If not its an old one and theres little you can do about it apart from filling it up to the brink.

Heres mine (the latest model iirc).

mines got black on the front saying XSPC

and mine looks exactly like that one divider wise

i need a guide on how to set this loop up and where to put the pipes.

the semi cirle is out and the large divider is input?

**** it i give up, no matter what i try it just wont work

stick to air cooling less hassle and strees.

if i use the input and output in the front of the pump i get air bubble sound, if i use the top output its ok,

the pump must be faulty.

ok ive got it working ok ish, but when i tip my pc up IE make the rad sit flat, [ res is full so no air is getting in there ], i get LOADS of air rush round the system, any ideas?

how long do i need to leave the pump on for to bleed the air out?

i can still see foam and tinny little bubbles in the system and res mostly.

It would appear you still have air in your rad, i have exactly the same problem, i make sure the system is fully sealed, then tilt the pc in all directions for a bit, let it stand overnight, then repeat untill no air is in the loop.

Although, alternatively, there may very well be a bleed screw on the rad somewhere...

there is a bleed screw and it does bugger all lol
open it and just like air bubbles come out for ages not any water

water will come out if the pump is turned off so i asume its pulling air into the system when the pump is turned on and bleed screw is open.

I've found with that res pictured above, always gave me problems, unless it was filled right to the TOP. You would be better off with the swiftech mini res.
