Hi, i've recently started using windows 7 and since the upgrade, my connection is amazingly unstable.
Basically, if im playing a game online, such as left 4 dead or battlefield, when it really starts to kick off (such as a horde rush in l4d) my connection starts to jump around, eventually it will just cut out all together.
Similar when downloading off steam.
Once it cuts out, i have to restart to get a kind of stable connection again.
There are 2 computers in the house, one is directly plugged into the router (line - modem - router - pc) and im on the one that uses the wireless connection from the router.
I've tried a direct connection downstairs to rule out line issues, tried it through the router downstairs to rule that out (also used a laptop with a wireless connection and vista to verify it wasnt the router).
The card im using is a recently purchased D-link DWL-G510, it happened on my old card aswell, which was another D-link but from 2004 so i figured the card was dying.
The router is a DI-614+ its a few years old but still reliable.
I've tried the official d-link drivers and the Ralink ones but i have the same thing occuring.
Any help would be great.
