First off, background on the hardware involved: It's an i5 2500k clocked at 4.4Ghz, and under full load the temperature levels out at about 62-63 degrees.

My question is, is it ok to run the CPU at very high loads for a long period of time? I do a fair bit of rendering for 3D design work and there are occasions I want to leave a scene rendering for 24 hours plus. Will this put any undue strain on the system?

Thanks for your time.
