Constant DXGI Device Error - Help!

Hey,

I've been getting constant game crashes over the last 3/4 weeks and am losing my mind.

I purchased OcUK Gaming Radiance Pro in August and it has been absolutely fine until this point. I keep getting constant DXGI errors from what I can see, across the games I play. Namely these are: Fortnite and Apex Legends.

Last night error for Apex was:
0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.

I've tried:

- Fresh install of the latest GPU drivers
- Fresh install of the games
- Ensuring all other software I can think of that I use is up to date, and Windows etc
- Running games with everything else shut down
- Uninstalled GeForce Experience

Probably missing a few things I've tried. More recently I've had less crashes on Fortnite when I've gone into the games settings when logging on and re-applying settings such as resolution and full-screen. This has largely irradicated the problem on that game, but there is still the occasional crash. Last night on Apex (granted it is a very new game) the above error was happening constantly.

Some people have suggested that it is because my PC is overclocked. I checked the bios and CPU temp was at 35 degrees which as I understand it is perfectly normal.

I should also point out that I don't run my games on max settings - I turn off things like anti-alaising, VSync etc and opt for low effects, shadows etc as I'm a sweaty. So a 1080ti and my spec should shred these games without any trouble.

I'd be grateful for any expert advice or ideas here. I've also contacted the build returns department but wanted to socialise this widely as I know some other people in the gaming community seem to be having this problem too.

Thanks!
