Constant lag

Hello, well recently I have found I am having huge amounts of lag in games (Lots of rubber banding, no disconnects or anything), it has only started happening for the past week or so, before that it was fine. Below are some test results:

I don't understand what the issue could be, everything is sufficient and the above results are what I had before this started happening. Can anyone give me any input as to what it could be?

Those tests show a more than capable connection. Is it shared with heavy users or something?

It is a University network, which at first is what I suspected, but it has been fine since I got here, up until a week ago, where one day it just gave me horrendous rubber banding.

I thought I'd ask here first for suggestions at my end, but other than that I can email the technician person.

Unis will throttle and traffic shape on their connections so worth asking.

UDP data on random high ports is usually throttled as a catch all for peer to peer transfers etc.

Which games?

You could grab a VPN if they're shaping.

The games I have tried are BC2, BF3 and TF2, it occurs on all of these.

Create account.
Login @ https://anonymitynetwork.com/members/index.php
Click "Get Trial"
Download & install the OpenVPN client for XP or Win7 from the same page
Download config zip. Extract to C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config
Run OpenVPN.
Right-click tray icon > uk anonymitynetwork 443 > connect
Enter username and password.
Done.

Well I connected, however Origin insists there is no internet connection and therefore won't log me in.

Can you browse the web? You might need to run OpenVPN as admin if you have Win7 UAC.

I can browse the web, I don't have UAC enabled. BF3 throws up loads of errors in Battlelog whenever I use the VPN as well.

Does ipchicken.com report VPN IP or ISP IP? Have you tried restarting Origin as well as the browser?
