Constantly being asked to enable notifications on mobile browser?

It doesn't seem to matter if I choose enable or disable, I'll be asked again the next time I open the browser.

Samsung Internet, blue theme if it matters. Anyone else getting this popup multiple times a day?

There is usually an option straight after clicking disable to 'never ask again'. Is this not coming up?

I wouldn't mind notifications, that doesn't work by clicking 'enable' either!

Sounds like your cache is being cleared every time you close the browser

I never want browser notifications on my phone so I just disabled permissions for them in the settings.
