Hi Gents,

Not sure how many of you will actually care about this but there is currently a remake of a 1997 classic Constructor coming up.

The developers have been shocking in their handling of the release date I think its changed 8 times since I've been following progress.

This is where it started for me in relation to PC gaming, there is more good news if you like the Constructor HD page on Facebook and follow them today 31st Jan 2017 then you will be given a code which will allow you to download and play the classic game from 1997.

The HD remake of the game is scheduled for April 28th last I saw but this could easily be 2097 at the rate this developer is going. It's had 3 new release dates so far this year.
 
The original Constructor was one of my first purchases on GoG :)

I only ever played the demo as a kid, didn't get very far thought it was too hard.

Thought the "To Let" signs were saying Toilet too and was wondering why they'd put that on a house :S lol

I'll probably get this one, as I find it quite hard to play in low non native res nowdays

I absolutely loved this game as a kid, one of my first pc gaming memories, and had no idea someone was remaking it. I'd tried for weeks to get this running on XP/7 with no success
 
Dear lord its been a long time since i played this game!

back in the day i used to reboot in to does mode and load the game from there!
 
The game works perfectly put in 4 hours last night straight off. It's like I never stopped playing. It ran beautifully no problems for me at all.

Seems a little weird controlling mouse to start but soon adapted to it.

Still free till around 3pm today I believe. Apparently it will soon be available to pre-order and there will be a HD demo so they say.
