Hi,

Just wondering if someone could please tell me the contents of this file.

I know it isn't a virus, so there's no worries there.

I can't seem to open it with anything.

Scanning it with Microsoft Security Essentials says it's 6 items if that helps?

EDIT: But on the second scan it's just 1 :confused:

Well the header is D0 CF 11 E0 A1 B1 1A E1.

Which could be:

DOC, DOT, PPS, PPT, XLA, XLS, WIZ Microsoft Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Wizard)
[See also Word, Powerpoint, and Excel "subheaders" at byte offset 512]
[Note the similarity between D0 CF 11 E0 and the word "docfile"!]

Opened in textpad and the words "mailstream" and "Rich Edit Flag" are in it

Still trying to sort this.

Anyone else have any ideas? I did try Office 97 but it didn't work, thanks for your input though.
