Any1 had any experience on the 2 vs 3? I know the 3 is much newer version but just wanted to know how much 'better' they are as they do cost a fair bit more for the newer option; i guess in order to clear out old stock of the Sport Contact 2 (unless they still make them?) ?

TIA

The Sport Contact 2 has very soft sidewalls but that would depend on the profile I guess, they don't make the SC2 anymore so it does look like they are clearing out stock.

Can't compare the two but im running Sportcontact 3 SSRs on my car and they seems very good. They are really sure footed in both wet and dry conditions and although at first they seem pretty crashy they settle down pretty quickly and ride a lot better than the NCT5 runflats I had on before.

can't really comment as the SportContact2s that came with the car only had a few months of tread left

very impressed with the SportContact3s. can't fault them at all

I have 2s on the back and 3s on the front currently - the car sticks effortlessly in wet or dry. I think I've had the tyres squealing once in the whole time I've had the car with these tyres, and I don't exactly hang about.

I managed to pick up some F1 GSD3s last week, seem pretty good. I'm sure someone on here said they have been phased out...?
