Hello all :)

I've been with Plusnet for the last 17 months and for around the first 10 months, it was good. I was happy with the speed and no slow downs. The only problem was the router not being very good. Since then though, I have experienced slow downs almost every evening.

Is that due to over subscription at the local exchange, too many plusnet users or something different?

Virgin Media have almost finished installing their services in my area as well, so that could be an option.

Anyway, I would like either another fibre service through my BT line that can provide a constant service with very few slow downs or should I wait for Virgin to finish being installed?

Are you in a FTTP area or only FTTC?

Anyway, I'd go with Zen for FTTx.

Virgin "might" be a good shout in an area that is only just getting VM, as it'll likely not be oversubscribed. I'm going to miss my VM 200/12 connection when I finally end up moving in to our new house (can only get FTTC/Infinity2 based products).
 
Thank you for the reply. I can only get FTTC here. I was thinking the same with Virgin but don't want to get stuck with them lol.
