Contract Renewal Time

My contract is coming to an end and deciding the next path to go down.

Firstly I can get a renewal on my existing contract and get an iPhone 4 (not 4s) but not entirely sure as I had an iPhone 3g and my WiFi died which was a real pita

Alternatively I could go the new contract route and get a Phone for £1 more a month, would be either a HTC , Samsung or Blackberry and get a free PS3 which seems more feasable as the cost a of new one is about £200

any suggestions, thoughts or alternatives to this anyone can think of.

I need a phone where I can access multiple email accounts mostly. Everything else is not a nessescity
 
Stick with the iPhone, the iPhone 4 is plenty good enough as a handset and you're used to iOS.

The £1 more per month deal will probably get you a crap HTC, Samsung or BlackBerry, didn't they even specify what model it was? :o

A contract which gave a 3G free 2 years ago, was probably quite hefty. Wouldn't take an iphone 4 if I was the OP. Could probably get an SGS2 if its a £25-£30 a month contract.
 
That's true, he could be on a rubbish contract.

Even so, an iPhone 4 on contract still generally costs more than an SGS2 and it would probably suit him better.
 
who you with, and whats your deal?

I was just on the phone to buymobilephones, and it turns out that tmobile dont offer as good a deal for *upgrades* as new customers... so best for me to not upgrade, but end contract, and start a new one :o

I would suggest that's slightly dodgy advice and to investigate it yourself. I did not find it to be the case at all.

Sorry forgot to get back on about this been quite busy lately.

My contract with 3 I have is 500 mins, 2000 Texts, 1GB Net , 200Mins 3-3 with a HTC Hero.

They have offered me to keep on same contact an iPhone 4 with no fees etc.

I've been hunting around for other deals and the deal i saw was:

Mobile: HTC Explorer
Free Gift: PS3 Slim 320GB + £30 cashback.
£25 per month, with 600mins, 500 texts, 500MB Net

Or

£26 per month with 400 mins, unlimited txts and 250net which would be more suited as i use more texts than mins.

Yeah we worked that out after the numbers, I've been recommended for what I use a mobile for, i.e. emailing, texting and a bit of facebook to go the blackberry route, can anyone suggest a decent one to go for? Been looking at the 9300 and the 9800s
