My contract is up for renewal today with TMobile and predictably the online offers are rubbish. I've been looking at the Samsung Galaxy S4 and they want £289.99 up front . I've spotted a deal on mobilephonesdirect.co.uk that is offering on TMobile:

500 mins
Unlimited texts
Unlimited internet
24 months
Phone price £94.99

Spoke to one of the online agents and unsurprisingly she couldn't match it. Did suggest speaking to the retentions team which will be my next step. If they can't match it, is it worth asking for my PAC code and seeing if they then ring back with better offers. Or just ask for my PAC code straight away and see what happens?

How much are you paying a month and for how much?

I've got 500 minutes ul txt
1gb mobile data and 500 mb thethered data for £36 but I get a 25% discount so £27 from orange and got the s4 for free.

Currently paying £26.47 a month for 300 mins, unlimited texts and I think 1GB internet (could be 500MB).

I called upgrade with orange4 who offered a far better deal than online were offering.
ie I got phone for free rather than about 99 to 149.

I got a similar deal direct from t-mobile, so they can do it. It's called full monty 26 with a £4 discount.

500 mins
Unlimited texts
Unlimited data
£22 per month
Originally £99 phone cut to 55 cos it was late.

Called retentions and they couldn't match the deal I posted, so I requested my PAC code. Is it guaranteed that they'll call back with better offers?

Last week i got a Htc one off t-mobile retention's for 29.99 for the phone £30 a month for 2 years 2000 mins unlimited data/text's. They originally wanted £179.99 for the phone! and £38 a month for the contract!! Always worth phoning them up ,say you want to cancel and take it from there.

Have yr other deals to hand.

good luck!

Phones4u .. iPhone 5, T-Mobile, 26£ per month, 24 month contract, 99£ upfront..

500 mins, unl texts, unl data

Hmm, certainly a possibility. I've never had an iPhone but from seeing other peoples, iOS does seem a smidge more polished than Android.

This was set up by some Oxford uni students, it's pretty awesome tool.

Even better if you can provide it with your online account details so it can measure your actual usage, rather than what you think you need.

Been over a week and no calls from T-Mobile. Thinking of going for a HTC One from dial a phone. 18 month contract with Orange, £36 a month but with £144 redemption making it £504 over the contract term. Plus £100 back with Quidco and around £80 for my S2 with the recycling sites would mean it would cost me around £325 over the 18 months. Seems to be the cheapest I can find it anywhere. So are dial a phone any good?

Anyone been with 3? CPW are doing a reasonable deal on the HTC One. http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/buy/HTC_ONE_3N065_FCONH Been put off a bit with the S4 with some of the issues that have been reported on forums.

Funnily enough, billmonitor (thanks for sharing btw) recommends me that CPW deal for my usage.
