I made a thread about a contract, but i've started this one which explains a bit more and hopefully you guys can help :D

I currently have a w800i on O2 Online 200.

This gives me 200 minutes and 500 texts.

This contract ends in August.

My bills are always around the £80 mark.

I'm getting a MDA Vario 2 when they come out on Flext 35.

I work at The Link so i'm entitled to half price line rental on one tarrif per network.

I can't do it on my O2 Online tarrif because it has to be a tarrif that we do in store.

I will be putting it into effect on the Vario 2 on Flext 35.

For now i am looking at getting another contract with another network.

I can get half price line rental on any of these networks - Three/Orange/Vodafone or even another O2 one, but not an Online O2 tarrif.

I don't really want the tarrif to be more than £40 a month (£20 for me)

I tried signing up today on THREE and they wanted a £150 deposit from me, why is this? I sell THREE contracts all day for them, and then they want that from me, any way around paying it?

I've been looking at the Sony Ericsson W900i on Anytime 500 3G which is £40 a month (£20 for me) which gives me 500 mins and 100 texts plus 50 video calling minutes and a free w900i.

The phone i was looking at on THREE was the Nokia 6280 which was free on Music Talk and Text 700 for £37.50 a month (£18.75 for me)

As said, i already have a w800i, so what should i go for?

When will the N80 be out and will it be available for free?

Sorry for the long read, but i really need other people's comments.

Thanks,

Andy

From your profile it says you are 18, that might be why you are failing the credit checks, have you got any credit history?

lol, i've been down the route of getting contracts for 'fun'. do you actually need them? i know i regret getting ones just for the phone and then a month later hating the phone and having to fork out every month for a year. if you dont need the minutes is there any need?

I'm 18, nearly 19, i have a credit card which is paid in full every month via direct debit.

I have an overdraft which i have only gone over twice and paid the next day.

I have a steady job.

I have an O2 contract and i got that as soon as i turned 18 with no credit.

I've put in for a credit report with Experian to see what is holding me back.

The last time we checked your credit history, i thought it was maybe your house that was the problem, not you as such. Do your mum or dad have any bad debts or anything holding them back, because the house and house-holders are normally checked when credit checks take place.

He right, bloody brother :(

Got a 6280 on t-mobile instead.
