Contractor Account recommendations ?

Hi All
Can anyone here recommend a good Contractor account for setting up a Ltd company and managing the Tax returns ? There seem's to such a variance from some at 120+vat to other's that are cheap but then charge for all the extra's such VAT return's, invoicing etc.. ?

I use Clever Accounts, cheap but they're really good. They do a lot as part of the fee that others charge extra for. £80 a month

Their online software that you do all your receipts/expenses etc is really easy to use as well and offers a lot.

I'm with Danbro as a 1st time contractor and they set everything up for me (company/contract/tax/VAT etc) and their fee's are paid from the money I get back from being a VAT flat-rate company. It actually pays for their top package where you literally have to do nothing but transfer money when they tell you.

However, now I've got a bit more experience of running my own accounts I'll drop back to their "basic" package later this year but as someone who had zero idea about accounting/contracting they've been great.
 
Iv used advance in past for umbrella but spoke with there team about contractor ltd company setups, there costs ain't too bad at 80 a month either which gets you everything they can do. Its who im looking at going onto for ltd in april
 
I started with SJD but realised they charge a lot for not a lot of work.
Moved to a recommended local accountant and much prefer the more personal service for less than half what SJD charged.
I'd advise finding a local accountant that has a good reputation.
 
Thanks for the advice Guys. i looked at clearsky who are charging 120+vat for there basic package but give have written that first 2 months of accountancy will be free with free incorporation as a very limited offer and charge £100 for year if Company is put into Dormancy. I don't know whether i will go above 3-4 months as a Ltd Contractor but want to maximize my Net earning's rather than the other route
