Contracts and emigration

I've got the opportunity to go to Egypt for about 3 months, maybe longer, which I've taken.

The thing is, my phone contract is going to be pretty useless out there. I don't want to be paying £25 a month and have no minutes & texts and extortionate data charges.

Has anyone else been in this situation? Is there anything that can be done?

Spoken to your contract provider?
On a hunch, I'm guessing they'll be able to tell you your options!

Or your lack of options. You might find there is nothing they can do, so be prepared for that too.
