Control unit for Logitech Z5500 dead, anyway to fix or replace before I say my goodbyes?

All of a sudden the control unit for my Z-5500 speaker system seems to have died on me.

No lights going to the power button, I've tried re-securing all the cables and giving it a few taps with my fingernail and even some wraps with my knuckles, but even that wasn't enough to bring it back to life :(

Anything else I can try or suggestions on where to get a replacement control unit for cheap before I retire it to the recycling center?

Nope!

This is it, looks in tact?

Okay thanks, not got a meter to test it.

It didn't seem to stop while it was playing something. I had it on earlier today, left the house, came back and saw that it was off because it was in the red off state. It did flicker and then die when I tried to turn it on though.

May give them a bell.

+1 contact logitech mate there awesome with support. theyve replaced my replacement mouse with another one as it stopped tracking and they just tell u to bin old one (or did for me)

To re-iterate everything already said in this thread. Logitech's end user support is normally fantastic, definitely worth trying.

my control unit died, contacted support and got sent a new one. class support. full recommend following that plan
