There was a suspicious vehicle in Storey’s Gate near my office, whole area cordoned off, and the police have just carried out a controlled explosion on it. I don't have much more info then that just now but it's (mildly) scary stuff!

Someone mentioned it was on or near the route the PM's motorcade takes to PM's questions. I've also just heard it might have been a wendy house.....

Hmm probably why I have just been stuck in traffic... Suppose I better get used to it seeing as I'm working in Westminster through the whole of the olympics (traffic that is).

Haahaha... http://yfrog.com/odahqejj
Note left in car by car's owner. I think it reads:
"Dear Sir or Madam
This car is broken & I am just waiting for AA to be arrived
Please do not fine!
Thanks you
Yours sincerely"

Wish I could see their face when they return..

It belonged to this guy, love his outfit!

Did he really have to give him a ticket as his half destroyed car got towed away?

I wonder what was in the boot?

He is foreign, did you read the article?

He is studying at a Welsh University and came to visit London for the day. I'm actually starting to feel a bit sorry for him now, it's not like he just parked there.

The ticket thing certainly was pretty rubbish, as surely the Police were still around when he returned. Plus I'm sure they must have left some kind of information on it if they had done.

Westminster Traffic Wardens though are pretty much programmed to try and ticket any vehicle they can though.
