Hello. I think i have messed up my controlled access folder.

Basically, it was blocking a file so i allowed access. Now i'm getting a message saying scan not complete due to exclusion of

%userprofile%\pictures

Process is explorer.exe

Is this making my desktop vulnerable ?

There is no infection. Just this message when it scans.

Can this action be reversed, or do i need to do a system restire or something

It doesn't sound like it's making it vulnerable, more that it doesn't have the visibility.
What do you mean ?

It sounds like you've added that folder as an AV scan exclusion, so if you want to remove it:

Open Windows Security. Click Virus & threat protection. Under Virus & threat protection settings click Manage settings. Scroll to the bottom, under Exclusions click Add or remove exclusions. That will then list all the files and folders you've excluded.
