Controller for NBA ive 2007

Can you guys recomend me a controller for NBA Live 2007.

Xbox 360 Wired Controller?

Thats what ive been thinking but ive heard that the drivers/software for it is poor. Any truth in this?

I think this is a great choice, I tried loads of controllers and always had problems with them and gave up. I bought an XBox 360 controller, downloaded and installed the drivers off microsoft and it worked perfectly.

Think I will get the XBox 360 controller then.
