Controllers for PC

Ive only just noticed that you can get 360 controllers for the PC, does that mean the ones I use for my 360 at the min will work? OR are they seperate items that just look the same and will only work with pc or 360?

if it's a wireless one, you need to get a separate receiver for the PC,
