Controllers why do they make me feel retarded?

I learnt to play games on a mouse and keyboard and I've been old fartish about learning on something else.

Controllers just don't work for me.

I have had frag fx v1 and v2 and i must say playing cod mw2 its just like a mouse. All i had to do was turn the sensitivity up in game and then adjust on the controller from 1 to 10.
