Looking for a way to control my Fileserver from my PC so i can install programs and change settings etc. Anyway to do this, ive tried TightVNC but it will not connect to the server :(

Any other ways?

Thanks, Ben

Use Remote Desktop...

Enable the controlling of the machine via right clicking my computer > properties > advanced > remote settings

Then on the computer you want to do the controlling, go to

Start > run > type "mstsc" then enter the machine name or IP address.

Voila

Remote desktop has changed my world...... I can even remote in from my HP 2210 PDA !

I'm currently running 2 servers as I'm in transition... can remote into both at the same time and copy between them....
