Controlling fan speed

I have an Akasa Evo 120 on a Asus A8N Sli Premium. I want to change the speed of the fan as it always seems to be going full whack. Can't seem to do this with the Asus probe software. Ive tried speedfan but can't seem to do it with that either. Any help much appreciated.

I use to use speed fan, but was pain remembering what fan you are controlling. Went and got an akasa JR fan controller, for £10 brilliant my pc is now silent, compared to it being unbearable before hand.

You should be able to change the fan speed in the motherboard bios if you have the fan connected to one the motherboard fan headers..
