Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to

A) Set logon hours for an account on Vista (Home Premium)
B) Force the PC to logoff/lock when the cutoff time is reached

I did this once in XP via the command prompt, but that did not force a logout, it just stopped them logging in, and being a sly kid they quickly realised that if they didn't log out all night, it wasn't going to make them.

I think last time I posted something regarding computer access and children, it started a whole debate over parenting, so before it starts again I'd just like to say that this is for a work collegue and I have no interest in how they raise their children, I'm just doing them a favour as their local 'pc bloke' :P

Cheers in advance

Gopher

psshutdown is handy, it's part of pstools, use the admin account to set the schedules, and make sure the kids don't logon using an admin account. (so they can't delete it)
